Married and single adults on a journey through the Bible, searching for direction in life as they study the Bible together. They read the Bible to understand what it says, what it means, and how we should respond.


 

Bible 101

Ages 30-50

Using a variety of studies, focusing on growing in their understanding of the Bible and the Christian faith, this group of couples focuses on issues faced in life and how the Bible relates to these issues.

Building Relationships
in Diverse Group Experiences

In this group of married and single adults, people from a variety of backgrounds discuss relationships and contemporary issues as they relate and apply the Bible to their lives.

 

Connections

Ages 30s -40s
Meeting Room: CLC206  

An informal group going book by book through the Bible, applying it to today’s world. This class is made up of mostly married couples with young or youth age children.

Married couples and singles, many with elementary and youth age children. They study individual books of the Bible, as well as books related to Christian living, as they seek to grow in their faith by exploring how the Bible guides them in life.

 

Friendship

Ages 50-80+
Meeting Room: Parlor

This class of seniors uses the Adult Bible Study Series developed by the United Methodist Church. Each study lasts about 12 weeks. They focus on understanding the scriptures in light of personal, family, and community concerns.


 

Genesis

This group of couples and singles varies its studies of the Bible to understand how the Bible speaks to issues such as relationships, family and other matters of daily life.

 

Reclaiming Scripture

Ages 30-50
Meeting Room: Wesley House Room 3                      

An informal class structure of married and single adults who study the Bible as a way to talk with and hear God. They focus on a selection of Bible verses, allowing time to talk about what they read and share their own understanding and insights.


 

Sojourners

Ages 50+
Meeting Room: CLC 211

This group of lively seniors grows in Christ through scripturally based studies that usually last from 6 to 12 weeks. They are active in fellowship and service on a regular basis.

 

Women Unplugged

Ages 30-70
Meeting Room: Wesley House Room 1

Women who gather to unplug from their daily routines the general busy-ness of life. They focus on God’s Word in the Bible and its practical application for daily living as a woman in the world today, while encouraging one another in their Christian journey.


 

Golden Girls

Ages 50+
Meeting Room: Wesley House
Women who gather for fellowship,  encouragement, and to study God’s word and its practical application for daily living as a woman in the world today.
