Ages of God
Ages 30-50

These adults search for direction in their daily lives by studying God’s Word and applying it to today. They read the Bible to understand what it says, what it means, and how we as Christians should respond.

BRIDGES (Building Relationships in Diverse Group Experiences)
Ages 40-50

Class members from a variety of backgrounds discuss relationships and contemporary issues as they relate and apply the Bible to their lives. Once a month, they conduct an around the table discussion, sharing as they wish. Some studies have included stress, communication, and seasonal studies. The class, led by a facilitator, gathers socially at least three times a year.

Connections
Ages 30-40

The Connections class studies Scripture as they apply the Bible to today’s world. As Christians, they look for ways to understand how we are to relate to others as a people created by and living in relationship with God.

Footprints
Ages 30-40 Room 4  Wesley House

This group studies individual books of the Bible as well as books related to Christian living. Most studies last from 6 to 12 weeks. Although most members of this class are between 30 and 40 years old, some are over 60 with grandchildren. Class facilitation rotates among those members of the class interested in teaching.

Friendship
Ages 50-80+
Parlor

This class of active seniors uses the Adult Bible Study Series developed by the United Methodist Church. Each study, led by a facilitator, lasts about 12 weeks. They focus on understanding the scriptures in light of personal, family, and community concerns.

Genesis
Ages 40-55

The Genesis class varies its studies of the Bible to understand how the Bible speaks to issues such as parenting, relationships, family and other matters of daily life. This class gets together socially about once a month.

Reclaiming Scripture
Ages 30-50
Room 3 Wesley House

The members of this class use the Bible as a way to talk with and hear God. Class members, ranging from young to senior adults, define the informal structure of this class as they study the Bible to better understand the scriptures. For example, the class might focus on a selection of Bible verses, allowing time to talk about what they read, answer questions, and share understanding and insights, on the most comfortable sofas in the church.

SPLASH (Single Parents Loving and Serving Him)
Ages 30-50
Room 6 Wesley House

This is an exciting new class of single parents and singles over the age of 25. Come share the good news of Jesus Christ through many different Bible studies. Join in the fellowship and fun as this new class takes off.

Seekers
Ages 30-50

This group focuses on building relationships within the church and the community while enjoying Christian fellowship. Members study the Bible to find guidance and strength in dealing with the experiences of life while living faithfully within their families, their work, and their community. Ages range from the 30's-50's, some with elementary-aged children, some with grown children.

Sojourners
Ages 50+
CLC 211

Sojourners grow in Christ through scripturally based studies that usually last from 6 to 12 weeks. They get together for regular social events, including dining out, attending athletic events, and serving the community at the Samaritan Inn and with Habitat for Humanity.

Young Adults
Ages 18-25
Youth Activity Center

These young adults learn from the Bible while they work to grow their faith and to live out of their faith in daily life. They support one another as they face the challenges of young adulthood, such as leaving home, working in the job world, managing relationships, and more.

Tomorrow
Ages 40+
CLC 207

This group studies the scriptures as well as books on Christian living and discipleship. Each week offers a lively discussion. At times members study books of the Bible or they approach the Bible using current Christian devotional material and literature. They come together to share with one another as they relate the Bible to the issues and experiences of every day life.

TRANSITIONS
Ages 20-30

This class of young married couples, most with young children, studies the Word of God and the Christian faith together. They seek a balance of their faith in the midst of relationships, careers, new parenting experiences, and meeting the challenges of today’s society. The studies of this class are varied and usually last from 6 to 8 weeks. They gather together monthly for a variety of social activities, some of which have included swimming, picnics, bowling, and attending baseball games.

WOMEN UNPLUGGED
Ages 30-70
Room 1 Wesley House

Women who gather to unplug from their daily routines and plug into some spiritual energy the general busy-ness of life. Focus on God’s Word in the Bible and its practical application for daily living as a woman in the world today, while encouraging one another in their Christian journey.
