Mission #1: Noah’s Run

On February 27, MPKids agents race to end world hunger in our own "Noah's Run," a fun filled event with lots of music and fellowship from 6:30pm to 7:45pm in the gym. This month, our agents will be recruiting family, friends and church members to sponsor them in the race with all earnings benefitting Heifer International, a global charity that matches up deserving families worldwide with animals whose byproducts can help them support themselves.
The approach of Heifer International approach is to not feed a family once but to feed a family for life through the one-time gift of an animal. Heifer provides cows for milk, chickens for eggs, sheep for wool, and bees for honey.  The family is then required to give the firstborn from their animal to another family in their village so that a chain of change is perpetuated.

Mission #2: Easter Baskets for Kids in Need

MPKids agents share the spirit of giving by assembling Easter baskets for children who might not otherwise get one. Agents will assemble baskets March 5 and 12. We deliver the baskets to Allen Community Outreach on March 14.
Show your support of our kids by making donations for these baskets.  Drop off donations at the Children's Ministry office any time before March 12.
