The Healthcare Ministry, lead by registered parish nurses, is composed of healthcare professionals and laypersons who have an interest in health-related issues.

In keeping with the mission of our church and following Christ’s example of caring for one another, the purpose of this ministry is to nurture the body, mind, and spirit through health education and support, linking the needs of the individual to resources within the congregations, community, and the healthcare system.

This mission is accomplished through periodic screening, a telephone hotline, and educational programs.

Insight Seminars

FUMC-Allen also sponsors quarterly Insight Seminars. These seminars address issues for a healthier body, mind, and soul presented by a professional in the medical field who also provides current literature. Insight programs are open to the congregation and community.
