Allen Community Outreach continues demolition/renovations on their new building at 801 E. Main. They’ve had a great start but as summer approaches, several of other activities compete for volunteer time on Saturdays, so now is the time to set some time aside to help fill the many volunteer needs for the upcoming months.

This is a great group opportunity for Sunday school classes, small groups, youth groups, and mission groups. Here are their needs:

• Volunteers 14 years and older. All minors need to be accompanied by an adult, and all volunteers must sign a waiver form.If you have already filled one out, we do not need another one.
• Renovation resumes July 12 so please help us spread the word. We  will be working in two shifts, 7:30am-11:30am and 12:30pm-4:00pm. We need about 20 volunteers per shift. Volunteers are asked to work only one shift because of the July heat.
• ACO provides lunch
• Volunteers should dress appropriately, wearing close-toed shoes. If you have work gloves, please bring them.
