The Special Kids Ministry Team at FUMC-Allen identified a need for a community-based program for youth in the Allen area. One of our youth adopted the inauguration of this program as her Girl Scout Gold Award project and worked with the ministry team to create APT G: A Place to Go.

This night out for our special needs youth (and a night out for their caretakers) is a free program for 6th through 12th grade youth.

APT G is open for visitors once a month from 7:00 to 9:30 pm in the Youth Center.

Pre-registration is required so we can arrange to have a buddy help with each young person. We also need a health and information form so we can know more about your special teen.

Space is limited with an RSVP deadline Wednesday before each event.

If you are a parent of a teen or know a teen who could benefit from this event, register them by emailing by the Wednesday preceding the event date at specialkids@fumcallen.org.
