Giving
In grateful response to God’s love for us, guided by the Holy Spirit through prayer, we will strive to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ by GIVING as we are faithful stewards of our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.

Our members have many opportunities to give back to God through worship and service. We maintain a list of service opportunities through our member website, EngagingOnline, and ask everyone to prayerfully consider your financial commitment to the church.
All members are asked to complete a Estimate of Giving card each year. To complete yours online now, click on this link. Your pledge will be sent securely and confididentially to our financial administrator.

Prayers
Daily prayer: We urge our members to have an active prayer life, not only lifting prayers for their friends and families but also for the mission and ministry of our church. An easy prayer guide is The Upper Room. Printed copies are available in the labyrinth or you can receive free The Upper Room daily devotions via email by signing up at www.upperroom.com. You can also visit our prayer wall where you can post your prayer concerns and pray for those on the wall.

Presence
Regular attendance at weekly worship: Whenever possible, we encourage members to be present at weekly worship unless they are sick or out of town. We offer three worship services every Sunday at 8:15am, 9:30am, and 11:00am.

Gifts
Committed financial support: Members understand that pledging an estimate of giving provides a way for the church to plan its mission and ministry. A pledge for financial giving also helps our members set a goal and seek to keep it. We ask our members to prayerfully consider filling out a stewardship card and present it to the pastor when joining the church. You can also give online via our member website, EngagingOnline. 

Service
Shared service: To fully experience the gift of discipleship, every member needs to be involved personally in the mission and ministry of the church.Explore our website to learn more of the activities offered at FUMC Allen and log into EngagingOnline to learn more about available service opportunities the person responsible for that ministry area to express your interest to serve.

Witness
Living a life that points to Christ, the author of our faith: We witness as we serve our neighbor, and we witness as we share with others how God is at work in our lives.
