Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry at FUMC Allen brings our youth into a closer relationship with Jesus and one another. We mentor and guide our youth through this time of spiritual formation and help them and their families adapt the teachings of Jesus--Love, Mercy and Grace--so that they may develop a deeper committed relationship with Jesus. Our vision is to provide a quality program, providing the tools for youth to explore, expand, and build their faith. We will continue to challenge and encourage youth to commit their lives to Christ. To learn more about youth ministry at FUMC Allen, contact youth director, Adam Spore.
Sunday School
Youth Sunday school meets in the youth wing at 9:15am and 11:00am every Sunday for youth in grade 7 through grade 12.

Wednesday Nights
Our Wednesdays nights are full of opportunities for youth.
Jedis for Jesus is a fun music-based Bible study for seventh and eighth graders. They meet each week from 6:30pm-8:00pm in the Youth Activity Center.
Senior high youth meet for relevant Bible study based on topics that matter to them. This group meets at 6:00pm at Escape Coffee shop at the corner for Jupiter and Bethany.
Sunday Night Youth Fellowship
Our youth fellowship program is active year-around and includes Bible study, activities, and service opportunities. During the school year, we offer music programs at 3:00pm with our youth orchestra rehearsal and 4:00pm with DARING, our youth choir, directed by Rev. Rusty King.
Our Youth Faith Academy curriculum, from 5:00pm-6:00pm, offers a wide variety of Bible study. Snack supper is served in the gym at 6:00pm with worship at 6:45pm in Fellowship Hall.
During the summer, we share time together at pool parties and other social gatherings in between summer camps, mission trips, and choir tour.
Confirmation
FUMC Allen offers a robust sixth grade Confirmation program that kicks off in September of each year and concludes on Confirmation Sunday, the first Sunday after Easter. We also provide confirmation education for older youth who were not confirmed in sixth grade. For information about any of our confirmation programs, contact Susan Hale.
Service Opportunities
Serving others in the name of God is a primary goal of our youth ministry program. Youth travel on mission trips and choir tours each summer, serve with Allen Community Outreach or APT G: A Place to Go, our ministry for special needs youth, and help with any number of church-ministry events, including Vacation Bible School in June, Fall Festival in October, Back to Bethlehem in December, Mardi Gras Madness, our youth fundraiser on Fat Tuesday, or Upward Sports Ministry summer camps.
